Growing up, I always wanted a dog like the ones from my favourite films, the kind that felt like more than a pet. When I finally got one of my own, I learned quickly how fast the years actually pass, and how short our time with a good dog really is. I was fortunate enough to have the skills to do something about it: to build something lasting, worth hanging on a wall and worth passing down. Every session comes back to one idea: every dog deserves to be remembered properly. That's what Benslie: Heritage Pet Photography was built for.

I hold a first-class BA Hons degree in professional photography, and I've spent over a decade working in the pet industry, with images being published and handpicked by celebrity naturalist Chris Packham, a childhood hero of mine.
